My search for my father and stepmother has lasted 35 years. My father, Elwood Richard Moore, is almost 88 years old. His birthday is May 22, 1929. Gail Frances (Porterfield) Moore will be 70 years old on June 24, 2017. They disappeared in September of 1975, and haven't been seen since.

If you know my father, please leave me an email. I apologize in advance for the age of these pictures, they are the ONLY two I have of my Dad. I have another picture of Gail besides the one below, but it unfortunately is not clear enough to use.

This next picture was taken February 1960. This is my Dad and my sister. Our mother died when I was 2 years old and my Dad remarried 3 years later. My Dad was born in Newark, NJ, but always told us he left home at 15 and never went back.
At age 46 (the last time I saw him), my Dad was 5' 9"-5' 10" and weighed 175-195 lbs. He had a large horseshoe-shaped bald spot on top of his head.The hair he did have was grey.

She married my Dad a year later, in 1966.
Gail was born and raised all of her life in Redding, CA. I am still in contact with her family and they haven't heard from her. It was Gail's mother's last wish that she find Gail before she died. Unfortunately, Gail's mom died in 1991 without finding her daughter. The last time I saw Gail, she had shoulder-length black hair, peppered with gray and was 28 years old. Gail's father died August 17, 2004.
