My family
includes 6 daughters ages 16 to 30, and in this mom's humble opinion, the
best kids on the planet. Want to see some pictures of my family? Check out
the "newest" pictures link below. Or, check out Arrica's
pagefor a few older pictures.
Our baby has finally arrived, although she took her time! Pictures are here.
UPDATE: Our "baby" is 19, but she'll always be the baby :-) More baby pictures
here.
Before you click here, a little background. I have not seen my father or stepmother for over 30 years...
The pictures have been supplied by my Grandmother, Aunt and my stepmom's sister. I have had a letter
forwarded by the Social Security Administration, but as yet no word. There are no guarantees he will contact me. Social Security will not forward another. I have tried many things to locate my Dad. I am asking you,the wonderful community of the Internet, to help me. If you know my Dad or stepmom, please
email me. This page is full of images, some of them Age-Enhanced, please be patient while
they load.
Are you an adoptee who has decided it is time to search for birthfamily
but don't have the foggiest idea where to start? Don't worry, we have
all been there. With the help of many, I have put together an extensive
"How To Start Searching". Visit this link if you are in need of
guidance before starting your
search. Many of the techniques can be used by a birthparent to locate a
child given up for adoption.
Actually, you don't have to be an adoptee to make use of these links.
Are you searching for birth family lost through adoption? Are you
searching for a long-lost relative? Try some of these links. Several
new links have been added!
There are five original poems here. I will put poems here that have meaning for me. I was
inspired to write a poem about our youngest, Caitlyn, not long
after she had appendicitis. "My Valentine" was written for my husband
Troy.
Do you like gardening or
touring arboretums? Here you will find
some of
my favorite links, including a few online arboretum tours. Broken link now fixed, my apologies.
Here you will find links to some good friends on the Net, most of which
I made on the old Heartland Front Porch. My guestbook link is on this page..
This page is in frames,
and includes a story, two poems, one written by me and a Quote of The Week
as well as a page of Past Quotes. I plan on updating it often, this is
just the beginning.
We've met some of our online friends, and spent a week in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Special thanks
to Chris and Dave for their gracious Southern hospitality.
My homepage has won a few awards. I'm very proud of these.
